In this Laureus SportsLAB Learning Session attendees will have the opportunity to hear/learn from organisations in different locations about how to centre young people in safeguarding approaches and policies . We will delve into successful strategies for developing child-centred safeguarding policies, gaining valuable insights into the challenges, successes and lessons learned along the way. Safeguarding is an essential component of Laureus’ sport for development programming. It enables organisations to create safe and inclusive environment where individuals can participate in sports activities with confidence and enjoyment. One challenge our partners grapple with is effectively engaging young people in designing and developing safeguarding policies.
